Parts Counter Position
The Parts Counter person at Minot Automotive Company will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right parts and accessories for their vehicles. Responsibilities include overseeing the parts sales process from start to finish, communicating with customers on parts status, communicating with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner, reading and understanding the parts catalog when looking up parts, answering phone calls, providing price quotes and other information, reviewing estimates to ensure the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate, providing high level service to internal and external customers, pulling and filling orders from stock, maintaining a weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock, notifying parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention, locating out-of-stock parts from outside source and submitting an emergency order if necessary, maintaining a clean and organized parts department, and making sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
