Outside Sales Representative (OSR)

The basic function of the Outside Sales Representative is to establish and maintain relationships with customers in the field and work locations. This position applies to active sales techniques and coordinates sales support efforts with other members of the Company to ensure customer satisfaction to reach profitability goals set by management. Primary duties include: Working with Sales Coordinators and Branch Mgmt. with the coordinating of all HVAC and Generator equipment (and equipment accessories) inventory, deliveries, and pickups Developing and making presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients Maximizing revenue from facilities and construction sites in a defined geographical territory Reviewing existing accounts to prospect and qualify new accounts, dormant or non-customer accounts, including competitor accounts Managing established procedures to ensure Company standards are maintained through Company and client policies and procedures including, but not limited to, safety, sales processing, and confidentiality Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers, acting as a single point of contact Preparing sales action plans and strategies Monitoring competitors, market conditions, and product development Utilizing our CRM Tools to develop a pipeline of opportunities Ensuring sales revenue, profit margin, and customer objectives are met on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Performing other task and duties as assigned by Management Education, knowledge, competencies, and skills required include: Bachelor's Degree Three years of sales experience Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills Strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities Knowledge of Power / HVAC equipment (Preferred) Must be able lift up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record This role includes a base salary and monthly commissions based on performance.
