Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Maine

This role is ideal for an experienced Superintendent ready to run $10M-$20M+ commercial projects independently, supported by strong project teams. Client Details Our client is a well‑established commercial general contractor headquartered in Southern Maine, operating across a broad range of project types including government facilities, healthcare, education, historic preservation, retail, marinas, and commercial office. Approximately 90% of their work is in Maine, with projects ranging from $1M to over $20M and bonding capacity up to $50M. Backed by a 40‑person team, they run multiple large-scale projects at any given time and continue to grow due to a strong pipeline and consistent awarded work. Description Lead commercial construction projects $10M+ as the primary onsite Superintendent Oversee all field operations, daily site coordination, subcontractor management, and safety compliance Partner closely with the Project Manager; may supervise an Assistant Superintendent depending on project size Maintain project schedule, implement logistics plans, and ensure high-level quality control Manage inspections, RFI coordination, site reporting, and jobsite documentation Interface professionally with clients, owners, architects, and local officials Uphold company standards while driving productivity, accountability, and problem-solving onsite Support planning, procurement, and coordination as projects progress through various phases
