The WW AGS Account Planning Lead leads the development and execution of AWS's global account and territory planning processes. This role operates with full ownership of strategic direction, establishing standardized planning processes that maintain global consistency while adapting to diverse sales organizations across geographies and business units. The position requires independent judgment in creating frameworks and solutions in undefined spaces, implementing emerging technologies including Generative AI, and translating customer planning insights into actionable strategies that drive business decisions and resource investments across AWS's global sales organization.

Key job responsibilities •Evergreen Account Planning Transformation: Lead the VP-level initiative to transform account planning from an annual artifact into a continuously updated orchestration hub •Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including Generative AI and automated workflows, to enhance planning processes while maintaining data security and quality standards •Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain deep collaboration with Strategy, Finance, Partner, Specialist, Services, and GTM teams to translate customer planning insights into actionable solution strategies and enablement plans •Process Standardization: Create and maintain organizational standards for planning processes used by thousands of sales professionals globally, ensuring continuity of sales execution •Analytics and Insights: Collaborate with the IDEAS team to create analytical tools (such as Plan Pulse) that enable business teams, central operations, and support overlay teams to identify high-value opportunities and strategically deploy resources •Leadership Influence: Directly influence OL4/OL5 leadership decisions through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations •Quality Benchmarking: Develop planning quality benchmarks affecting AWS top-billers and highly strategic customers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent - Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations - 5+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience presenting to senior leadership - Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
