Position Summary: Client is seeking an experienced and dedicated
Clinical Director of Infectious Diseases
to lead our Adult Medicine Department’s diabetes program. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, the Clinical Director will provide clinical oversight, leadership, and high-quality patient care while supporting operational excellence within the department.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited medical school Board Certified
in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician License in the State of Connecticut (Preferred) Experience in a large health center setting and/or private practice Experience supervising Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) Experience with recruitment, onboarding, retention, and discipline of clinical providers and staff Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements related to infectious disease and clinical practice Experience serving underserved populations with complex healthcare needs Commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient patient care
Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical leadership for the Infectious Diseases program Oversee quality of care and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Supervise clinical providers including APRNs and PAs Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff development Support initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes Deliver direct patient care as needed Collaborate with executive leadership to meet organizational goals
