We’re partnering with a leading industry company in the consumer packaging sector to find a talented Packaging Designer. This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative structural package designs. The position is based in a Hybrid work environment in Long Island City, NY.
Packaging Designer Responsibilities:
Design and developm structural packaging solutions that meet cost, schedule, and branding objectives.
Collaborate closely with graphic designers to create functional and appealing packaging structures across various materials.
Evaluate prototypes and samples to ensure quality and consistency with specifications.
Generate detailed die-lines, drawings, and documentation for manufacturing and development purposes.
Packaging Designer Qualifications:
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Artios-CAD required, with experience in retail packaging projects.
Competency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Past experience in designing packaging using materials like corrugated, paperboard, and plastics
Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.
