Opportunity Overview Global Banking & Markets – Analyst Role – New York, NY

Global Markets Division Enables our clients to buy and sell financial products, raise funding and manage risk. We make markets and facilitate client transactions in fixed income, equity, currency and commodity products. In addition, we make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis.

FICC & Equities This division enables clients to buy and sell financial products, raise funding, and manage risk across fixed income, equity, currency, and commodity products. Professionals serve institutional clients including asset managers, hedge funds, banks, brokerages, pensions, endowments, foundations, corporations, and governments. They deliver leading market insight, risk management, and execution, helping clients to raise money, invest, and transfer risk across financial asset classes. This includes roles in:

Equities teams: Transacting in stocks and other equity-related products, including convertible securities, options, and futures. Their work includes financing, securities lending, and other services for institutional investors.

Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities (FICC) teams: Transacting in a variety of assets, including interest rate products (such as government bonds, treasury bills, and other highly liquid instruments), credit products, mortgages, currencies, and commodities.

Qualifications and Skills

0–3 years of relevant work experience

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Quantitative proficiency, such as financial modeling and advanced Excel skills

Ability to self‑direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments

Commercially savvy with discretion regarding confidential information

Integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgment

Ability to build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders

Thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, integrity, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with clients, executives, and colleagues

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, including strategic thinking

Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States‑based position is $70,000 – $130,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year‑end.
