Role Overview Reporting into the VP of EMEA Sales, the Regional Director of Sales, is responsible for setting the regional sales strategy and overall performance, leveraging both a direct and Partner model. This leader is directly accountable for building and motivating a world‑class sales organization that strives for continuous customer satisfaction.

About the Role

Develops GTM pathway sales strategies, goals and objectives.

Conducts regular reviews to ensure team alignment across all functions, demonstrating leadership and initiative.

Responsible for driving capability, new opportunities (pipeline) and bookings through partners to grow Trellix business.

Builds and leverages successful relationships with senior executives of all pathway partners. Leverages business acumen to co‑develop business plans supported by pipeline with pathway partners.

Uses sales skills to co‑selling and supporting pathway partner sales activities.

Coordinates the involvement of field sales engineering, support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner requirements.

Responsible for providing partner input to other Trellix team members. Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.

Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.

Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.

Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs while creating joint partner solutions by coordinating the involvement of all necessary Trellix and partner personnel.

Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.

Demonstrates excellent collaboration with all teams.

Works closely with field sales & partner teams to drive customer adoptions of software and services.

Develops relationships internally and externally with various stakeholders.

Applies an inspirational and disciplined style in leading the organization to foster a positive, open, innovative and high‑performing culture across the sales force.

Examine and hone the sales strategy and tactical game plan for the region, to achieve goals, revenue and margin objectives and overall operational excellence.

Strong ability to create a strategic vision for the region's emerging business, identifying opportunities, risks, capacity required and converting that into an executable plan.

Maintain strong, active communication with staff regarding performance expectations, business opportunities and activities, sales results, and forecasts against metrics, along with recommended courses of action.

Be the motivational and inspirational voice of the region, communicating openly and often, particularly during times of growth and transformation.

Interface with leaders from Engineering, Marketing and Services providing market/customer insights, challenges and suggestions.

Demonstrate successful execution of business strategies for Trellix products and services for the region.

Ensure sales operational excellence in driving the business in a controlled and sales‑focused manner.

In conjunction with your team, collaborate with leadership from Partners to identify, support and close opportunities.

Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts in line with business objectives; manage and control sales pipelines, funnel and sales processes, sales reporting.

Identify, hire, and build a strong and competent sales team.

Reinforce and act as an ambassador for Trellix GTM model and ensure all stakeholders understand the need for ‘one voice’ to clients.

About You This position requires an inspirational, disciplined regional sales leader with a track record of outstanding strategic and tactical sales experience within the high technology sector, combined with an open, honest and collaborative people leadership style. Additionally, you must have:

A minimum of 8‑10+ years’ experience leading enterprise and commercial software sales teams within a direct‑sales model. A history of building and/or evolving teams into top performers is paramount – talent assessment, talent acquisition, performance management and succession planning.

A history of leading geographically dispersed sales teams, operating in a 24 x 7, demanding competitive environment.

A track‑record in consultative solution selling of enterprise‑grade integrated solutions and/or platforms, with a focus on customer success and achieving mutually positive business outcomes. Security software experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

Measurable experience working with a wide variety of partners to deliver success, including resellers, integrators, distributors and MSP’s.

Demonstrated success of operating in a highly matrixed organization, with active collaboration with peers and business leaders from different functions / geo’s.

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills which allow you to interact with confidence and credibility at all levels. Multi‑lingual communications skills preferred, but not mandatory.

You have the ability to communicate thought leadership around cyber security and the solutions that enable organizations to protect, detect and remediate threats.
