Training Content Writer Associate Get Involved!

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Training Content Writer Associate to join our Operation Christmas Child team in Boone, NC. This is an incredible opportunity to use your gifts and talents to promote His Kingdom!

This is a full-time associate temporary/seasonal position (6 months, beginning of March through August 31st).

A day in the life of a Training Content Writer Associate At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.

Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.

Provide support to the Operations Training Manager in creating, revising, and updating Processing Center and BASBO training handbooks and resources used to equip PC Managers, PC Management Teams, and Associates.

Work with the Operations Training Manager to restructure, reorganize, and update training handbooks, process documentation, and other training resources.

Assist with evaluating current training content and resources and developing innovative methods for improvement.

Research, outline, write, and edit content.

Create PowerPoints and handouts for training Processing Center Staff and volunteers.

Assist with writing content for online courses and training video scripts.

Other duties may be assigned that are not specifically identified within the content of the job description.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four‑year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. English degree preferred.

Excellent writing, formatting and grammatical skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to present procedures and processes in clear, concise text.

Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Strong computer skills with advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).

Knowledge of Grammarly and utilizing AI is beneficial.
