Insight Veterinary Wellness Center is a 24/7 General Practice and Emergency hospital delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Our model combines first-opinion GP care with emergency and urgent care services, allowing our teams to work with a broad and interesting caseload while providing continuity for patients and clients.

We’re known for our supportive clinical culture, strong teamwork across day and night teams, and a genuine commitment to mentoring and professional development — from new graduates through to experienced clinicians. With modern facilities, a diverse and skilled DVM team, and a focus on sustainable medicine, Insight offers an environment where clinicians can do their best work while continuing to grow.

Role Overview The Clinical Director (CD) at Insight Veterinary Wellness Center (IVWC) is a senior clinical leadership role responsible for guiding medical quality, clinical decision-making, and DVM development within a 24/7 General Practice and Emergency hospital.

This role carries significantly greater scope and responsibility than a Clinical Director role at smaller or GP-only hospitals due to:

Higher acuity medicine and case complexity

The Clinical Director serves as the hospital’s clinical leader, mentor, and coach, partnering closely with the Hospital Administrator (HA) and regional medical and operational leadership to support patient safety, team development, and sustainable clinical performance—while remaining actively engaged in clinical practice.
