Overview

We’re looking for Autobody Preppers with a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience to join us at Carvana. As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you’ll be expected to perform light bodywork, including prepping, sanding, buffing, removing and installing bumpers, minor plastic welding, and small area bodywork (including Bondo repair). Pay range: $20-$24 hourly. Role: We have a variety of paint roles available depending on experience. Other roles available to help prepare low-mileage, late-model cars for customers include: Paint Prepper (min 6 months professional experience) Entry-Level Painter (min 1 year professional experience) Mid-Level Painter (min 3 years professional experience) Experienced Painter (min 5 years professional experience) Additionally, other automotive roles across 18 locations include: Auto Body roles (Paint, Prep/Body work, Wheel Repair, Airbrush, Interior Repair, Glass Repair, PDR), Auto Technician/Mechanic roles (Lube and Oil, Inspection, Brake and Tire, Mechanical Repair / Build, Master Technician), and Entry-Level roles (Detailing, Inventory Associate, Photo, Parts Associate, Inspection, Coordinator/Administrator). Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools; must lift up to 60 pounds At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license; some positions may require an MVR check Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment and tolerate weather conditions Use of safety equipment such as face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments About Carvana
