We are seeking a high-impact, new-logo-focused

Head of Business Development

to lead Forte Group’s next-generation growth motion. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will shape and execute our North American go-to-market strategy for net-new client acquisition. You will oversee a growing team of Business Development Directors while personally driving your own sales pursuits and revenue outcomes. Success requires deep expertise in selling digital engineering, custom software development, with a diverse range of delivery models—including managed services and outcome-based engagements. Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Growth Leadership

Own and scale Forte’s new logo acquisition across North America. Achieve revenue targets, define territories, and identify high-value sales initiatives and lead generation activities Partner closely with the CEO, CTO, CDO, and Marketing to shape GTM motions and build winning playbooks. Expand Forte’s presence in mid-market and enterprise segments with a strong AI-forward value proposition. 2. Team Leadership & Building the Hunting Engine

Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing Business Development team. Foster a culture of urgency, accountability and execution excellence. Establish a modern outbound playbook that blends traditional sales methods with AI-enabled sales strategies. Sell and scale outcome-based and managed services engagement models. 3. Personal New-Logo Acquisition & Revenue Growth

Lead from the front—actively owning and closing new logo pursuits. Engage VP/CXO-level stakeholders with confidence and credibility. Source, build, and convert a strong pipeline of net-new opportunities Partner with Solution Architects and Delivery to craft compelling proposals and solutions. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with the CTO and Technology organization during active sales cycles. Collaborate with Marketing to drive targeted lead-gen campaigns. Partner with the Head of Account Management to ensure seamless handoff and long-term success. Align with Delivery on pricing, capacity planning, and engagement solutions Bring structured market intelligence back to the leadership team to refine offerings and strategy. 5. Operational Excellence

Drive KPI focus across activity, pipeline metrics, and financial performance. Implement scalable sales support operations for the team Champion the use of automation and AI tools across the sales workflow. Improve win rates, ACV, qualification discipline, and sales cycle efficiency. Standardize pricing guardrails, deal reviews, and forecasting rigor. What Will Make You Succeed

Experience & Expertise

10+ years in business development or sales within digital engineering or technology consulting. 3+ years leading business development teams. Proven experience selling custom software development, engineering services, and managed teams. Strong grasp of modern tech stacks, cloud engineering, data, AI, and agile delivery. Track record of hiring, scaling, and coaching high-performing sales teams. Strong executive presence and communication skills. Thrives in fast-moving, scaling environments. Mindset & Attributes
