We are now seeking a
Senior Manager, Strategic Sales, P&HS
in the Americas’ region. In this position, you will play a key role in executing strategic growth in the Americas, leading a team of Strategic Sales Managers and working with districts in developing a new business base across all 3 districts (North, South and South America). In this leadership role, you will also liaise and collaborate with the Key Account Managers, Commercial Development group and the New Ventures & Services unit, promoting the existing product and service portfolio and helping to identify potential new key differentiators in the Packaging, Hygiene and target markets.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Creating efficient new sales approaches, processes and monitoring tools
Identifying new strategic sales opportunities and promoting Kemira’s strategic key differentiators and new technologies to the industry and specific targets
Leading and aligning new strategic sales projects and priorities through break-in and cross-selling opportunities with regions
Identifying new sales opportunities in Digital services & Sustainability-related projects and help developing new services offers
Leading break-in opportunities, creating and entertaining new relations and assuring good internal and external communications
Collaborating with regions in the execution of the strategic sales growth, at all stages from target identification to commercialization
Exposing Kemira to the industry and executing marketing efforts (communications, trade shows and conventions, publications, social media) in collaboration with Commercial Development group
Developing relations with industry’s key stakeholders (network, associations, universities, equipment manufacturer, etc.)
Evaluating market needs and identifying potential new opportunities to acquire, license, distribute or develop by Commercial Development group
Ensuring the link and collaborating with Commercial Development group and the New Ventures & Services unit
Working closely with the PLM and Sourcing groups to ensure optimized logistics, manufacturing and tolling to help the commercialization of new strategic sales projects
What you’ll bring to the team:
Proactive style with proven experience leading business process initiatives in commercial activities, with a track record of aligning strategic goals and leveraging technology
Comprehensive understanding of markets in the Packaging and Hygiene chemicals sector, enabling informed decision making and strategic foresight.
Demonstrated, measurable achievements in driving business outcomes.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and executive level communication skills (verbal, written, non-verbal) to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Global cultural awareness and adaptability to foster collaboration in a diverse work environment.
Solid business acumen and a focus on outcomes that support overall corporate objectives.
Familiarity with digital transformation and sustainability
10+ years of relevant experience in commercial roles
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; proficiency in English is required.
Technical Degree or above in Pulp&Paper, chemistry, engineering or a related discipline
