We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Superintendent with experience leading field operations on large‑scale mechanical construction projects, particularly high‑rise multifamily new construction. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to safety and quality. This role includes full accountability for field execution, workforce development, and successful delivery of assigned mechanical scopes.

Pay Range

$95k-$130k per year

Qualifications

Extensive experience supervising mechanical construction in

high‑rise multifamily

settings

Proven ability to manage crews consisting of

1–3 foremen

and their subcontractor teams (8–12 workers each), as well as apprentices

Strong background in

hydronic piping, sheet metal, refrigeration, VRF/VRV systems, ductwork, and cooling towers

Demonstrated success managing new construction projects from ground‑up through turnover

Stable employment history:

no more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years

(non‑negotiable)

High proficiency with construction technology platforms including scheduling, documentation, and field management tools

Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, specifications, codes, and scopes of work

Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.

Strong leadership qualities including integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and a growth mindset

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with schedule‑driven demands

Key Responsibilities

Lead mechanical field operations for assigned high‑rise multifamily construction projects

Develop installation strategies based on project plans, sequencing, and manpower availability

Oversee day‑to‑day field activities, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and compliance with mechanical code requirements

Conduct and enforce all safety procedures, including planning, toolbox talks, and full site compliance

Manage materials, manpower forecasting, equipment needs, and short‑interval scheduling

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards

Oversee reporting, documentation, and field‑level use of construction technology

Identify scope gaps, coordinate with other trades, and support change order development

Communicate clearly with project stakeholders to maintain accurate alignment on schedule, execution, and performance

Mentor, coach, and develop foremen and field teams, supporting long‑term workforce growth

Support look‑ahead scheduling and ensure proper allocation of labor, materials, and equipment

Uphold a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and team accountability
