Theo is a fast‑growing performance media agency headquartered in Portland, Oregon. We help local and national brands across a wide range of industries advance their marketing practices through methodical, creative, and technology‑driven marketing activations.

We are seeking a CRO Specialist with a passion for analyzing and optimizing website performance through a marketing‑led lens. Our ideal candidate boasts expertise in data analysis, user behavior tracking, and A/B testing to identify on‑site improvement opportunities, boost user experience, and drive conversions. Your skills will ensure client success by helping to unlock efficiencies in website conversion, whether that be optimizing landing pages, refining customer journeys, or identifying other opportunities within the full conversion funnel.

This position is eligible for remote work. Remote employees are expected to use video conferencing programs for virtual meeting attendance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement data‑driven conversion rate optimization strategies to improve website performance and increase CVRs

Monitor and analyze website and digital campaign performance using web analytics tools and dashboards

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify user behavior, friction points, and other areas of improvement

Build and execute A/B and multivariate tests to optimize website experiences, user flows and conversion funnels

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, such as performance marketing, design, and development, to implement optimization strategies

Provide actionable insights based on client and industry data to drive continuous improvement in business KPIs

Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in CRO

Monitor impact of optimization efforts on KPIs, generate reports, and present findings to stakeholders that clearly outline test outcomes, impact, and next steps

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience

2-3 years of experience in CRO or similar role

In‑depth knowledge of web analytics tools (ex: Google Analytics and Hotjar) and hands‑on experience with experimentation tools and platforms (ex: Optimizely, VWO etc.)

Proficiency in A/B testing and optimization techniques and a strong understanding of conversion funnels, user journeys, and how they impact marketing performance

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Detail‑oriented with an excellent track record for accuracy

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
