Responsibilities The Senior Vice President of Asset Management will lead long‑term strategic planning, property management, and operations for Related Ross’s rapidly expanding portfolio of approximately 5 million square feet of Class A office, retail, and hotel space in Palm Beach County, Florida, with a focus on unifying building operations, workplace experience, and property management.
The successful candidate will work closely with the following:
Related executive team
Management teams, tenants, investors and partners at each asset
Internal leasing, marketing, development, design and construction teams
External contract vendors and suppliers
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver best‑in‑class customer experience, security and operational services for tenants, employees and visitors
Manage expenses efficiently and effectively across the portfolio
Maintain and expand property management and other fee income
On an ongoing basis, assess portfolio risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them
Be proactive in advising senior management of issues/opportunities that may have meaningful economic or reputational consequence
Innovate and strategize ways to enhance Related Ross’s property management value proposition
Develop and maintain strong relationships across the industry
Day‑to‑day management responsibilities:
Careful attention to quality and efficiency of daily operations
Recruit, retain and grow top talent in property management, security and engineering teams
Creatively problem‑solve as issues arise
Conduct oneself with the highest level of business integrity
Scale organizational best practices as the portfolio grows
Effectively communicate, both internally and externally
Qualifications
Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in operations management
Undergraduate degree required
Proven skill in maximizing the operating and financial performance of a large/complex property or organization
Strong project management skills, results‑driven, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience with a wide range of asset classes, a plus
Complex strategic thinker with a keen understanding of value creation
Creative and innovative problem‑solver
Ability to think as easily with big picture as at the granular level
Naturally thinks and acts like an owner
Superior interpersonal skills: ease in working with people up and down the organization hierarchy; naturally adaptive to different audiences; diplomatically assertive
Strong sense of integrity and ethics. Values entrepreneurialism. Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity; always seeking new approaches and challenging the organization to new levels of success
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
