
The Role
We are seeking a
Sales Director
to drive revenue growth by owning and expanding strategic relationships with
WPP agencies and their direct brand clients across the Northeast . This role manages a senior-level account list, exceeds revenue targets, navigates complex holding-company structures, and unlocks high-impact partnerships including
rate cards, preferred programmatic deals, and content integrations .
You will own the full sales cycle - from RFP through close - while building trusted, consultative relationships grounded in a deep understanding of client business challenges. The role partners closely with internal teams to deliver
creative, compliant, and data-driven solutions , and requires becoming a subject‑matter expert across a portfolio of premium kids and family IP.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and exceed annual sales revenue targets
Build, manage, and grow a strategic account list focused on
WPP agencies and their clients
in the Northeast
Navigate complex holding-company structures and negotiate strategic partnerships
Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to build a healthy revenue pipeline
Manage all client communication, including RFPs, presentations, negotiations, and follow‑ups
Build deep, trusted client relationships through consultative selling
Collaborate cross‑functionally with client success, media & ad ops, data, creative, marketing, and finance teams
Stay current on industry trends, measurement, and media innovation
Serve as a subject‑matter expert across the company's IP and solutions
Requirements
8+ years of experience in
digital advertising sales
with a proven track record
Strong relationships within
WPP agencies and/or their direct brand clients
Deep understanding of the digital media ecosystem, including content, platforms, and measurement
Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to sell through ideas
Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments
Results‑driven, solutions‑oriented mindset
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Strong leadership, prioritization, and time‑management capabilities
