We are seeking passionate individuals looking to work with children ages 2-8 years old in an energetic and fun environment. We hold our sessions in park districts, schools, and daycares across Will County and Western Cook County, Monday through Saturday. $20.00 per hour, with $15.00 per hour during training. Training lasts 1-3 weeks. Must be able to work the spring season (March–May). Responsibilities
Coaching sessions with groups of 5-10 children in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate manner. Arrive on time to sessions and communicate effectively with Soccer Shots leaders. Represent Soccer Shots with a clean appearance and professional conduct at public sites and private sites. Participate in our comprehensive training program and ongoing development processes. Qualifications / Ideal Candidate Qualities
Consistent availability – able to work multiple seasons with minimal changes to availability during an 8-week season. Responsible – reliable and punctual, with strong communication skills. Professional – friendly and approachable for parents and staff. Experienced – proven experience engaging and leading young children; soccer experience is a plus but not required. Creative – comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children. Clear background – must pass a background check. Must have reliable transportation and access to the internet daily with phone/computer. Best coaches in the business – all coaches complete comprehensive training and certification; ongoing evaluation and development. Working with children is a priority for us, and we seek individuals who are passionate about positively impacting children and helping them gain confidence on and off the field.
