Develop new show concepts—from initial idea to pilot to full launch with a focus on compelling, high-quality storytelling that reflects our client’s editorial voice. Review scripts, outlines, segment plans, and rough cuts; provide clear creative direction. Ensure every show upholds brand standards of intellectual rigor, accuracy, and principled commentary. Conduct competitive research to identify audience opportunities, format innovations, and emerging trends. Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and events teams to position each show for maximum reach, visibility, and impact. Production Oversight

Lead or supervise recording sessions, interviews, and live‑to‑tape conversations as needed. Oversee post‑production—including editing, mixing, scoring, and sound design—either internally or through external partners. Evolve existing formats and develop signature franchises that strengthen our client’s brand identity. Audience Growth & Strategy
Partner with the marketing team to maximize reach through SEO, social channels, newsletters, YouTube, partnerships, and other distribution platforms. Analyze show performance, listener behavior, and platform trends; refine strategy accordingly. Develop multi‑platform storytelling approaches, integrating podcasts with video, events, and membership offerings. Work with the business team to support sponsorships, advertising integrations, and premium content offerings. Hire, lead, and develop a high‑performing team of producers, video editors, and support staff. Establish clear processes, workflows, and creative best practices across the department. Mentor hosts and contributors to strengthen delivery, tone, and on‑air performance. Oversee budgets and manage vendor and contractor relationships. Ensure the department operates with efficiency, transparency, and accountability. QUALIFICATIONS
