A Day in the Life To gain market share and grow market in the Cardiac Ablation Business (CAS) by promoting, selling and servicing Medtronic’s CAS products within the assigned territory. CAS seeks collaborative, patient‑centric candidates passionate about quality and reliability.

Position Responsibilities

Represent Medtronic CA Solutions as the point of contact for assigned accounts.

Responsible for sales, service, clinical/tech support.

Manage overall relationship between CAS and account.

Conduct sales calls to promote, sell and service Medtronic’s CAS products and services.

Implement quarterly sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives.

Maintain knowledge of Medtronic CAS products and support sales efforts.

Coordinate customer activities at all meetings as assigned.

Complete administrative reporting (expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, competitive updates, inventory log).

Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity, market changes, distribution, pricing, and customer preferences.

Cost‑effectively manage time and assets.

Effectively utilize sales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs.

Train and educate customers to gain incremental business and expand market.

Maintain proficient level of product knowledge across all assigned product lines.

Advise customers of changes and developments related to CAS products, indications, approvals, protocols and safety information.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma and a minimum of 6 years of experience.

Associate degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.

Desired / Preferred Qualifications

4 + years in medical device sales.

3 + years of TDS and 3 years in medical industry sales.

Experience selling in the field of Cardiology, hospital environment, to electrophysiologists in the EP/Ablation market.

Master’s degree.

Demonstrable success in previous employment indicating high level of sales performance.

Physical Job Requirements

Frequent travel to customer clinics, hospitals and off‑site meetings; over 75 % travel required.

Independent mobility and ability to stand/sit/ walk for 8 hours per day.

Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 15 pounds.

Must be able to interact with a computer and communicate with peers and co‑workers.

Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed.

Cath Lab / OR procedural observations as needed.

Benefits & Compensation Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary range for U.S. (excl. PR) locations: $68,000 – $70,000. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). Benefits include health, dental & vision insurance, health savings account, flexible spending account, life insurance, long‑term disability leave, tuition assistance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, employee stock purchase plan, and more.
