The Territory Purchasing Leader position is responsible for division purchasing strategy, coordination of inbound inventory, and supporting the site(s) and peers within the division on market drivers. This position functionally reports to Purchasing with a significant influence by Managing Director of the division. Core Functions
Planning purchasing strategy for the division and working with the commodity managers to implement. Placing additional responsibilities with planning of warehousing and freight strategies to minimize inventory and cost without sacrifice to customer delivery. Working within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products. Inbound coil and accessory tracking against lead-times. Communicating and mitigating inventory outages to the site. Supporting site staff with market indicators to guide SIOP and forecasting process. Assessing site inventory and working with key stakeholders to adjust min’s and maxes and/or movement of aged inventory to better support site cash and inventory flow. Communicating sites needs (customer needs) to the functional cohort for strategic integration. Key Measures of Success

Minimum Required
2 years’ experience in a Purchasing or relevant position. Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in finance, supply chain management, accounting, business administration, or equivalent. Experience with Microsoft Office products including Power BI. Experience with purchasing commodity-based products. Experience with construction industry. Experience in manufacturing environment. Physical Demands & Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment to perform the core functions listed in this job description. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies as well as communicate verbally and electronically.
