We are currently seeking an experienced

Superintendent

to lead construction operations and field activities for our commercial projects. This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented, results-driven professional to deliver exceptional construction projects while building strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all construction services and activities on assigned projects

Lead and manage construction crews, ensuring efficiency and safety on-site

Manage subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project timelines

Interface regularly with clients, inspectors, and building officials to ensure smooth communication and compliance

Maintain detailed daily logs and weekly production reports to track progress

Implement cost-effective strategies and techniques in the field, leveraging experience and knowledge of the industry

Maintain a strict project schedule, making necessary adjustments based on field conditions to meet deadlines

Manage all field operations for assigned projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met

Proactively manage project budgets, striving to complete projects under budget when possible

Foster a culture of safety and commitment to PSC's core values

Ensure project schedules are met, and milestones are achieved

Collaborate with Project Management and Estimating teams to develop effective construction approaches

Ideal Candidate Profile

Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in commercial construction industry

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Construction/Science, or similar field (preferred)

Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to take full ownership of projects

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and construction project management software

Experience using smartphones and tablets in conjunction with field management software

Estimating experience is preferred

Comprehensive knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and trade practices
