About the Role We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our Anchorage-based team. Reporting directly to the Content Marketing Manager, you’ll play an integral role in our content marketing and social media department—helping develop standout content while contributing to strategy and engagement across a diverse client portfolio.

This is a hybrid creative/strategic role—ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling and social performance.

What You’ll Do

Concept, write, shoot, and edit social‑first content including photo, video, and graphics across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, etc.)

Collaborate with account managers, designers, and other creatives to create platform‑specific content plans for client brands

Stay ahead of trends and proactively pitch ideas that help clients stay relevant and engaging

Capture live content at shoots and events including BTS, interviews, and social video

Actively engage with followers and help manage community interactions (DMs, comments, etc.)

Develop and maintain social media calendars and coordinate posting across multiple channels

Conduct competitive audits and benchmarking to inform recommendations

Track and report on content performance, pulling key insights to optimize future work

Assist with procurement and logistics for shoots (talent, props, locations, etc.)

Use insights and analytics to guide strategy and refine content execution

Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

Minimum 1–2 years experience in social media, digital content production, or creative marketing

Deep understanding of social platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram, and how to grow and engage audiences

Strong writing skills and an eye for storytelling—across copy, photo, and video

Proficiency with content creation tools: DSLR camera systems, iPhones, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop), Canva, etc.

Strategic thinker who understands how to align social tactics with brand goals

Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Comfortable capturing content in real‑time and working independently to execute full content cycles from idea to publish

Bonus: Familiarity with social media management/reporting tools like Brandwatch
