About the job The Brattle Group, a privately held, global economics consulting firm, is looking for a Marketing Content Specialist to join either our Boston or New York office. The Marketing Content Specialist at Brattle is a dynamic, creative, and collaborative role that supports a wide range of internal and external initiatives. This position develops content aligned with Brattle’s brand and business development priorities, working closely with colleagues in marketing and business development. The role blends writing, editing, proofreading, and content creation, and is responsible for producing diverse content types, including website copy, social media posts, and marketing collateral. The ideal candidate brings strong editorial skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities

Write, edit, and proofread content for Brattle’s website and social media channels to promote articles, reports, events, announcements, and other firm deliverables

Publish and update website content on a regular basis, managing review and approval workflows, and meeting tight deadlines

Play a key role in Brattle’s public relations efforts by monitoring, posting, and tracking media mentions, and drafting press releases

Prepare and publish internal communications, providing writing and editing support and managing content on the firm’s intranet and email marketing platform

Use Brattle‑approved AI tools, mainly ChatGPT, to support drafting, repurposing, and editing of content in alignment with content review and quality standards

Uphold and advocate for established Marketing processes, providing quality control support to ensure high standards across all Marketing content

Contribute to additional content and marketing initiatives as assigned

The candidate

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing

3-4 years of professional content or communications experience; law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred

Strong writing and editing skills with a clear, audience‑focused style

Excellent organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Working knowledge of digital content tools, including CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)

Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools

Familiarity with SEO/GEO fundamentals and basic performance metrics

Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with senior professionals and subject‑matter experts

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to work independently and in a highly collaborative team environment

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization

Understanding of and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of firm information

Compensation and benefits Brattle offers a competitive benefits package, base salary, and bonus program for eligible roles based on individual and firm performance. The anticipated base gross salary range for this position in Boston, MA is $83,000 - $90,000 annually and the anticipated base gross salary range for this position in New York, NY is $90,000 - $99,000 annually. Actual salary will depend on a variety of factors, including experience and training.
