The role will be responsible for leading the various stages in the development, execution and launch of marketing and communication efforts. Manage internal business owner relationships effectively, guide creative and other support teams in the development of effective collateral and communications.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide project management and account service for marketing projects from inception through completion. Working closely with the resourcing manager for job assignments. Track assignment progress and maintain business owner and marketing services informed of project status and/or changes in our project management system, Workfront.

Develop and secure approvals for robust and complete project briefs with feasible timelines and budgets. Assist business owners with planning and strategizing. Initiate and manage projects in compliance with estimated Marketing Services lead times.

Provide scope of work, strategic marketing direction, project plan, creative brief guidance, and approved budgets to each business owner for marketing related projects to promote our company, products, and services. Obtain all necessary approvals prior to presenting to business owner for review and approval.

Operate as primary liaison between creative team members and business owners. Manage business owner to gather all relevant information and details for the creative team to propose a conceptual design and for production to assure concept will be as effective and efficient as possible.

Maintain effective communication with all parties keeping abreast of department, market, competitors, and industry changes. Ensure resources are available for timely delivery.

Ensure integration of messaging across all channels for marketing programs and specific campaigns.

Actively lead project flow, make quick decisions on next steps, and effectively roll out assignments to ensure concept is on brief.

Represent business owner's objectives and needs during department production status meetings. Ensure work meets high standards of quality and accuracy based on Norwegian's brand identity standards and guidelines in addition to delivering on brief.

Effectively present and champion/sell Marketing Services approved concept/designs to business owner and educate them as to its applicability to their business. Follow through with necessary adjustments and revisions.

Leverage WorkFront system to effectively manage projects to generate reports and analysis to be shared with business owner and/or manager.

Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

2 years' experience in corporate marketing department, in-house agency or advertising agency as account executive. Cruise Industry experience preferred, but not required.

Outstanding written and oral communication abilities, with a proven capability to effectively present to and engage with business owners and senior management.

Excellent organizational, change and time management skills to prioritize deadlines.

Individual must possess a high level of initiative and be a self-starter.

Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline sensitive, detail-driven environment.

Excellent multi-tasking, creative problem-solving skills and sound decision making.

Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team toward a common goal.

Perform well under pressure, assume responsibility and ownership of work.
