Job Summary Cirrus seeks a driven, talented and experienced Marketing Project Strategist. to join the global leader in personal aviation as we continue expanding our global footprint, product portfolio, aftermarket services offerings and operations. This role collaborates with the larger marketing department to support sales, service and other Cirrus teams through managing marketing projects. The position is in Knoxville, TN at the Cirrus Vision Center. This role reports to the Executive Director Global Marketing with dotted line responsibility to the Senior Traffic & Project Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Creates marketing project schedules and outlines necessary tasks to ensure that the work will be completed within the specified deadlines while allowing ample time to get the work done to the expectations of the requester.
Reviews daily workload with department leads and adjusts assignments as needed making sure that the appropriate talent is utilized, and workloads are balanced.
Adjusts project schedules and overall workload as project demands or priorities change.
Prepare project briefs for team kickoff meetings, tracks progress on assigned projects, identifies risks, resolves issues and schedules follow up meetings to keep projects on track.
Ensures each marketing team member knows the assignments that they need to complete and the due dates.
Informs stakeholders on project progress and obtains necessary approvals to complete work.
Keeps in contact with relevant departments regarding current deadline status and any issues that may require attention.
Coordinates external resources as needed and aligns scheduling and delivery of those resources.
Prepares print production estimates and timelines based on assigned projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management or related field
2-4 years’ experience in a marketing project management role
Experience with marketing organization platforms such as Wrike
Fluency in English is required (Spoken, Written and Reading)
CAPM Certification and previous agency experience is preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and planning skills
Superior project management and time management skills
Attention to detail and ability to work in ambiguity
Excellent knowledge of marketing tools and techniques across various marketing channels
