We’re looking for an experienced, results-driven
Producing Sales Manager
to join our national mortgage lending team in
Salt Lake City . This is a high-impact, dual-role opportunity for a proven mortgage leader who thrives in both
production and people leadership .
In this role, you’ll actively originate and close your own loans while recruiting, mentoring, and leading a team of Loan Officers—playing a key role in driving growth, performance, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do Produce & Close Loans
Consistently meet or exceed personal production goals
Generate business through self‑sourced referral partners (realtors, builders, etc.) and company‑provided leads
Recruit, hire, train, and motivate Loan Officers
Conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture
Oversee Mortgage Operations
Manage the loan process from application through closing
Ensure efficiency, quality, and exceptional customer experience
Ensure Compliance & Risk Management
Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines
Adhere to Utah DRE and NMLS requirements
Oversee cybersecurity protocols, including for remote staff
Monitor pipelines and market trends
Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and loan quality
What We’re Looking For Experience
5+ years of successful mortgage origination experience
2+ years in a management or supervisory role within mortgage banking
Licensing
Utah Principal Lending Manager (PLM) license or eligibility to obtain (UT‑DRE requirements apply)
Strong knowledge of mortgage regulations (TILA, RESPA, ECOA, etc.)
Proven leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Proficiency with LOS platforms and CRM tools
Integrity
Demonstrated honesty, ethical judgment, and professionalism as required by Utah state code
Competitive
base salary + commissions
