Rove is seeking a
vibrant, hungry, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Account Manager
to join our
Maryland team , based in or near
Frederick or Westminster, MD . This is a full-time, exempt, W-2 position that involves extensive regional travel (up to 90%) throughout Maryland. Account Managers typically work 40+ hours per week and are eligible for gas reimbursement and a full benefits package (following a waiting period).

About the Role As an Account Manager, you will be the face of Rove to our valued customers and in-market strategic partners. By educating customers on our brands and products, you’ll play a key role in growing Rove’s presence across the Maryland cannabis market. You’ll gain valuable sales and marketing experience through industry events, networking, and hands‑on market activation.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop customer success strategies that drive growth within existing accounts
Conduct cold outreach to dispensaries and delivery services throughout Maryland
Execute vendor days by educating customers and consumers on Rove products, pricing, services, and brand values
Recommend promotional strategies to retail partners while maintaining brand integrity
Manage event kits, materials, and visual merchandising displays
Perform inventory counts at dispensaries carrying Rove products
Serve as the face of the brand and communicate Rove’s mission and core values
Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail buyers and staff
Develop sales strategies and consistently meet or exceed sales goals
Plan and execute regional marketing and promotional initiatives
Stay current on product offerings and industry trends
Address customer needs and issues promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate activity records using CRM tools
Demonstrate deep product knowledge and enthusiasm for the brand
Lead by example with integrity, accountability, teamwork, and respect
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed (with notice)
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks as required
Qualifications
Must be
21 years of age or older
Strong commitment to excellent customer service
1–3 years of experience
in account management and/or outside sales preferred
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
Strong verbal communication and presentation abilities
Ambitious, self‑motivated, and trustworthy
Critical thinking skills with flexibility in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to work independently with strong follow‑through
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for extensive travel
Compensation
Salary Range:
$70,000–$75,000 annually (based on experience)
Bonus/Commission:
Up to 20% of base salary
