Digital Media Planner & Buyer | Digital Media Manager Works closely with the Media Director and client service teams to provide digital and traditional media planning, research, strategies, and recommendations, and implementation of said recommendations. A detail-oriented and experienced individual who is data-smart, innately curious, incredibly driven, and intently focused on achieving technical and measurable results.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-4 years of experience buying traditional and digital media

BA/BS or equivalent

Up-to-date knowledge of the digital media marketplace with a solid understanding of media best practices and planning and buying process

Understanding of ad formats, segmentation, targeting, trends and platforms in the paid media landscape

Passionate and articulate and can craft a compelling plan/recommendation and present it to the client

Capacity to see the big picture across all marketing touch points, e.g., TV, Display, Search, Social, Online video

Constant focus on outcomes and solutions

Responsibilities

Work with Media Director to provide paid media recommendations with supporting rationale and POVs

Plans and places paid media local and national media buys, optimizing campaign strategies and tactics to maximize results and ensure client goals are achieved

Comfortable working on digital media including but not limited to paid social, paid search, display, streaming online video and existing, as well as new platforms and technology

Confers with and negotiates with media vendors with the ability to determine optimum use of budgeted funds to achieve marketing objectives.

Compiles media reports with the necessary information to analyze results versus defined campaign metrics

Responsible for the ongoing support and mentorship of junior team members on daily tasks in order to grow their knowledge base and expand individual management skills.

Present to clients in a manner representative of the ethos of the agency

Working knowledge of media tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Numbers, Mac & Keynote skills
