The Opportunity This is a full-time position that will be based out of our Austin, TX office in the Heart Failure division. In Abbott’s Heart Failure (HF) business, we’re developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
What You’ll Work On
Develop creative concepts for new campaigns and environmental branding
Advise on creative direction for layout, typefaces, colors and styles for advertisements, publications, and presentations.
Design engaging promotional materials including PowerPoint, brochures, posters, environmental, social, web, and other digital and print tactics
Audit marketing materials to ensure brand compliance
Partner with cross-functional partners including global marketing, commercial marketing, internal communications, HR and others for creative direction and briefing
Maintain brand identity on all collateral produced.
Proofread and approve artwork.
Stay current on print standards, web publishing applications, and best practices related to print and digital collateral in regulated industries
Required Qualifications
Associates degree in graphic design / visual communications / multimedia or related field
8+ years of experience in graphic design
Advanced skillset and experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
Thorough understanding and knowledge of printing processes
Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to work cross-functionally and juggle multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to lead or coach less experienced employees

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
