Our client is expanding rapidly and looking for an experienced
OSP Construction Manager
to lead the crews building next-generation fiber networks. This role is ideal for a field-driven leader who understands telecom construction, prioritizes safety and quality, and takes ownership of delivering projects on time and on budget.
This is more than construction oversight—you’ll be helping build the backbone of growing communities while developing high-performing teams.
What You’ll Do
Oversee the installation of outside plant facilities supporting high-speed fiber deployment
Set and enforce safety and compliance standards across all job sites
Perform quality assessments to ensure fiber plant meets company and industry standards
Partner with contractors and engineering teams to resolve design and field challenges
Drive project schedules, performance, and accountability across engineers, assistants, and contractors
Coordinate splicing diagrams and manage work across multiple platforms
Evaluate new products and construction designs to improve field execution
Lead team development through training, performance reviews, and advancement opportunities
Provide clear weekly reports and updates to leadership
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Communications
or
4+ years of telecom industry experience installing, repairing, and maintaining OSP facilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
Experience navigating HES to track Service Orders, Trouble Tickets, and Facility Records
Valid driver’s license
Working knowledge of RUS and NEC codes related to OSP construction and maintenance
Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced, changing environments
Nice to Have
Leadership experience managing crews or supervising OSP construction projects
