Job Summary: Order Administrator
This high-visibility role is responsible for managing all incoming revenue orders and serves as a centralized resource for order distribution, booking, and sales credit. The Order Administrator triages new orders for completeness and acts as a primary liaison between Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure all transactions adhere to company booking policies and revenue recognition criteria.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management:
Process and book sales orders, evaluations, demos, and loaners while ensuring accuracy in quotes, purchase orders, and legal contracts.
Policy Compliance:
Identify non-standard terms and ensure all orders align with internal booking policies and revenue recognition standards.
Cross-Functional Liaison:
Resolve issues related to pricing and discounts by collaborating with Finance, Logistics, Product Management, and Marketing Operations.
Database & Systems:
Set up maintenance and support contracts in
Oracle
and trigger workflows within
SalesForce
ticketing systems.
Sales Support:
Serve as a dedicated resource for assigned sales territories and partners, providing timely notifications to Renewal Representatives.
Process Improvement:
Contribute to continuous improvements to enhance the customer and partner experience.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
5+ years in Sales Administration, Sales Operations, or Order Management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in
Oracle
(preferred) and advanced
Microsoft Excel/Word .
Interpersonal:
Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and multitask.
Availability:
Must be willing to work overtime, including evenings/weekends, at month‑end and quarter‑end.
