About the Role Artemis/West Texas Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated

Commercial Insurance Account Manager

to join our team. In this role, you will provide strategic sales support and serve as a critical liaison for new and experienced producers. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive gap analyses, navigating complex market dynamics, negotiating with carriers to secure optimal outcomes, and fostering business growth through effective cross-selling strategies. This position requires a results-driven professional adept at cultivating client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of our sales and service objectives. The role demands the ability to assess client needs, analyze existing coverage, and anticipate future risks while delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serves as a direct point of contact to handle client issues and concerns and provides appropriate solutions and alternatives.

Generates cross-sales, closes inbound leads, and asks for referrals to grow the agency’s client base.

Maintains client retention by researching and resolving problems, reviewing accounts regularly with clients, and recommending coverage enhancements or modifications to protect clients and their assets better.

Maintains and grows knowledge in commercial lines of insurance.

Prepares and processes quotes, applications, endorsements, payments, and inquiries in line with company and carrier policies and procedures.

Assesses client needs and reviews renewals annually, identifying coverage gaps to mitigate client’s risk exposure.

Responds to client inquiries and requests related to insurance products promptly.

Researches and resolves complex customer service issues, making recommendations to place coverage.

Determines client needs by analyzing current coverages and ascertaining long-term needs and potential coverage gaps.
