Cybersecurity Analyst II Rothe Development, Inc. (RDI) is seeking a Cybersecurity Risk Vulnerability Analyst II to join our security control assessment, vulnerability assessment, software assurance, and risk assessment teams supporting our Nation’s ballistic missile defense program. This individual will perform research, analysis, and data gathering activities while conducting threat, vulnerability, and capability maturity assessments. The individual will be expected to apply critical thinking, conduct gap analyses, and develop implementation plans for the improvement of cybersecurity in large, complex defense systems.
This position is an on-site role in Huntsville, Alabama (Redstone Arsenal) and requires Secret clearance.
Salary range: $98,000 to 120,000 annually
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
5+ years of Cybersecurity-field experience.
Extensive training experience and ability.
Secret Security Clearance required.
Functional Responsibility: Performs data gathering, research, and analysis while conducting threat, vulnerability, risk, and maturity assessments. May apply critical thinking, conduct gap analysis, and develop implementation plans for the improvement of the risk management-related program and contribute to constant innovation and improvement; works under general supervision and usually reports to a supervisor, though some ingenuity and flexibility is required.
Capable of executing Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessment, Cybersecurity Software Assurance Assessment, Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, or Cybersecurity Posture Baseline Assessment tasks.
Position requirements are identified as DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II prior to accepting position – no exceptions.
Cybersecurity certification such as CCNA-Security, Security+ CE, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CISSP, or CISSM.
Experience supporting key cybersecurity activities including vulnerability assessments, control development, security plan documentation, penetration testing, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Nmap, ACAS, and others.

Salary range: $98,000 to 120,000 annually
