We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Utility Locator to join our team in Linn, MO. The Utility Locator will be responsible for accurately locating and marking underground utilities such as gas, electric, water, and sewer lines to prevent damage during construction or excavation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience using utility locating equipment and be able to interpret utility maps and drawings.
Responsibilities:
Use utility locating equipment to accurately mark underground utilities Interpret utility maps and drawings to determine the location of underground utilities Communicate with construction crews and project managers to ensure accurate utility markings Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries Maintain accurate records of utility locations and markings Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience as a Utility Locator or similar role Knowledge of utility locating equipment and techniques Ability to read and interpret utility maps and drawings Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and teamwork skills
