
Metric is looking for a
Senior Proposal Coordinator
to join our stellarmarketing team. This candidate needs to be a highly skilled proposal and marketing professional with deep experience in the A/E/C industry with an emphasis on clients throughout Texas.
This person must be able to produce the overall RFP responses from inception to completion.
This role independently manages complex proposals from start to submission, develops winning strategies, produces compliant and compelling marketing materials, and collaborates closely with technical staff, project managers, and leadership. The position requires strong technical writing, creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining quality and brand consistency. This is a hybrid/remote position with the potential of working within the Austin, Irving, or San Antonio office.
Day-to-Day Key Responsibilities include:
Managing RFPs/RFQs/LOIs, etc. independently from receipt through submission.
Analyzing procurement documents to identify requirements, schedules, and compliance needs.
Developing proposal outlines, schedules, and content submittal responses.
Coordinating proposal teams and managing deadlines.
Writing, editing, and refining technical content for clarity, quality, and evaluator grading criteria.
Ensuring proposals meet all compliance, QA/QC, and brand requirements.
Developing graphics, layouts, and visual elements to support proposal narratives.
Supporting proposal closeout activities, including shortlists, interviews, and debriefs.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of the A/E/C industry, public-sector procurement, as well a private sector marketing.
Proven experience producing compliant proposals independently.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working across multiple service lines.
Familiarity with proposal win strategies and evaluator scoring criteria.
Intermediate experience mentoring staff and/or managing proposal efforts.
Specific experience working with municipalities, counties, and state agencies.
Experience with Deltek Vanatagepoint, OpenAsset and Trello are a plus.
What you should bring:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, business, or related degree field (preferred).
7+ years of similar experience with A/E/C firm industry required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines.
Thorough understanding of and ability to comply with government agency RFPs, RFQs, qualification packages, and private-sector proposal processes.
