
Senior Electrician - JLL
As a Senior Electrician at JLL, you'll play a vital role in shaping a brighter way for our clients by ensuring the electrical systems that power their operations run seamlessly and safely. You'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and systems across commercial properties, working collaboratively with facility management teams to deliver exceptional service. This role embraces innovative ways of working while prioritizing safety and efficiency in all electrical maintenance activities.
What this job involves:
Maintains generators, VFDs, UPS systems as well as building and or Utility Plant support equipment like AHUs, Chillers, Boilers, hot water heaters, pumps, valves and other electrical related equipment.
Assist in support/execution of Site power outages and Major Switchgear Maintenance events
Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
Assist with the installation and repair of single and three phase motors (single & two speed)
Run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc.
Willingness to change lightbulbs and ballasts as needed
Ability to communicate and work in teams
Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Has a clear understanding of how to troubleshoot electrical systems and the voltages that might be present as well as understanding single line drawings
Is familiar with LOTO, NFPA 70E and maintains a clean and safe workplace.
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
Ability to use a computer in an efficient manner, Knowledge of computer-based work order systems.

Required Qualifications:
High School diploma, state equivalent, or GED equivalent.
3+ years of related trade schooling or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Electrical / Journeyman License.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Able to regularly lift items up to 50lbs
Physically able to operate electric hand tools, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, operate required equipment, and operate a motor vehicle.
Able to work in close places such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, etc.
Able to work on ladders and scissor/man lifts.
Able to work on roofs of buildings – able to safely perform overhead work.
Location: Onsite - Thousand Oaks, CA
Work Shift: Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pm + OT required based on business needs.
Salary/ Comp: $35 - $42/hr + Overtime.
