Summary A UX/UI Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and accessible user experiences and interfaces across web and mobile applications. This role focuses on understanding user needs, designing interactive interfaces, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences that align with business goals and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to gather requirements and understand user behavior.
Create wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and visual designs for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
Ensure consistency of branding, design patterns, and user interface guidelines across platforms.
Conduct usability testing, analyze results, and iterate designs based on feedback and metrics.
Stay updated on design trends, emerging tools, and best practices in UX/UI design.
Create and maintain design documentation, guidelines, and style guides for cross-team reference.
Optimize designs for responsive web and mobile platforms, considering accessibility standards.
Advocate for user-centered design decisions throughout the development lifecycle.
Review and provide constructive feedback on design work from peers and other teams.
Support the creation of design systems and reusable UI components to improve workflow efficiency.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
2-4 years of professional experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
Strong understanding of interaction design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
Preferred Skills / Duties
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
Strong visual design skills, typography, and layout expertise.
Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Experience working in agile or iterative development environments.
Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and version control for design assets
