
Licensed Premier Relationship Banker

Overview
This position is responsible for building full relationships with mass affluent clients through proactive outreach to an assigned book of business and referrals from bank partners. It strengthens and manages existing relationships by providing financial advice, partnering with investment and insurance specialists to offer goal-based planning advice and services, and guiding and fulfilling loan and deposit needs to ensure appropriate banking products and services support the customer's financial goals. The role cultivates strong relationships with branch and business banking teams within a defined bank area and/or specific market, as well as with mortgage, FCIS and other sales partners to build and manage full financial relationships.

This position may be filled as a Premier Relationship Banker or Senior Premier Relationship Banker based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
Responsibilities
Sales – Achieve individual and/or team financial, production and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned. Align sales results with community needs and the organization’s commitment to diverse lending. Engage customers, prospects and referral sources through proactive outreach, represent the Bank in community events to generate business and identify potential CRA opportunities, and ensure conversations provide relevant financial guidance, creating value for both the customer and the bank.
Service Standards – Foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects and colleagues. Initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities, listen attentively and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs, and take prompt action to address immediate needs. Proactively seek coaching, support Bank initiatives and leverage tools to enhance activities.
Operations and Administration – Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions and financial exposures. Complete required training by established deadlines and perform general office management duties to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience in financial services relationship management, retail banking, private banking, or wealth management OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in financial services relationship management, retail banking, private banking, or wealth management.
Preferred Area of Experience: 1+ year(s) in a licensed role.
License or Certification Type: Must have or acquire Series 6 or 7, 63, and state‑specific life insurance licenses within 120 days of hire date. Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive frequently to other offices and bank customers; a bank car is not provided.
Required Skill(s): Application of a structured sales process, providing financial guidance and expertise, financial literacy, financial analysis, credit underwriting, knowledge of retail banking products and services, business development, financial plan conversations, knowledge of securities products and services.
