
This role is responsible for administering enterprise databases, knowledge graph platforms, data integration pipelines, and large-scale structured/unstructured data repositories. The administrator ensures data reliability, availability, and optimized performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage relational and non-relational database systems (SQL, NoSQL, graph databases).
Oversee database deployments, optimization, backup/restore, and high-availability setups.
Administer knowledge graph environments and data-driven discovery frameworks.
Monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement tuning strategies.
Configure replication, clustering, failover systems, and DR environments.
Manage schema changes, indexing, stored procedures, and query performance.
Create operational documentation and architectural data models.
Support data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
7+ years in database administration or data engineering.
Strong experience in SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar systems.
Knowledge of graph databases (Neo4j, RDF-based systems, etc.).
Preferred Experience
Experience with cloud database platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with ETL tools, data pipelines, and integration solutions.
Performance monitoring and automation scripting.
Certifications (Preferred)
Microsoft SQL Server certifications
Oracle OCP
Neo4j or cloud-based data certifications
