
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The SBA & USDA Portfolio Manager/Credit Analyst is responsible for servicing and growing the existing SBA & USDA portfolio, as well as analyzing financial data on new and existing SBA & USDA loans in the assigned regions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform annual review/credit analysis on all SBA and USDA loans assigned.
Prepare credit memo and Loan Offering Memorandums (LOM) for SBA loans.
Review Late Pays/Deficiency Report and work with borrower on work‑outs and collections.
Update the SBA Watch List for all assigned SBA and USDA loans.
Review Colson Report and provide updates to Colson Reporting Agent in SBA Department.
Grow current SBA Portfolio.
Review new SBA loan requests in assigned regions.
Prepare Loan Modification Requests for loan committee, SBA servicing, and secondary market.
Submit Loan Mod packages after loan committee approval to SBA for approval.
Request Release of Collateral from SBA and secondary market consultant.
Present credit memos in SBA/ELC Loan Committees.
Prepare Liquidation package for the SBA Repurchase Guaranty Center and the Banks attorney.
Work with SBA Liquidation Project Manager and SAD.
Prepare Form 1149 Transmittal for net proceeds from liquidation of collateral for defaulted loans.
Order 3rd party reports (appraisals) for collateral values for LTV.
Review SBA standard operating procedures (SOP) and take webinars to keep up to date on SBA SOP changes.
Attend SBA & USDA Dept meetings/trainings and update SBA Procedures for this role.
Monitor Insurances and collect updated certificates.
Work closely with SBA & USDA Dept Portfolio Managers to assign projects & tasks.
Pull weekly reports (cash items, delinquency report) and Monitor GL Accounts.
Set up Ticklers for all SBA & USDA loans for annual review reminders.
Works closely with SBA examiners for annual audits.
The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 7 years related experience and/or training and 7 years related management experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
