
A luxury eyewear brand is seeking an experienced Independent Brand Ambassador/Sales Consultant to represent an iconic heritage eyewear brand known for performance, craftsmanship, and design. This 1099 independent contractor role focuses on driving brand growth through relationship development, product education, and elevated brand representation, while delivering an exceptional customer and consumer experience.
The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset, operates independently, and serves as a trusted partner to accounts while embodying the values and positioning of the brand in the Midwest/Mountain region.
Job responsibilities
Drive sales performance through strategic account development and brand advocacy Develop new partnerships and maintain existing customer relationships to support long‑term growth Present collections, introduce new products, and provide brand education during account visits Gather and share customer feedback and market insights to support brand strategy Deliver a high level of service to accounts by addressing questions and resolving issues in a timely manner Conduct product knowledge and brand training sessions for retail staff to enhance sell‑through and client experience Support qualitative distribution aligned with the brand positioning and identity Collaborate with internal partners, including trade marketing and operations, to support in‑store visibility and brand initiatives Provide business updates, performance insights, and account feedback as requested Accurately complete required account documentation, surveys, and agreements Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and special activations Perform additional services as mutually agreed upon under the independent contractor agreement Profile
Proven success in optical, eyewear, or B2B sales, ideally within luxury, fashion, performance, or consumer goods Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a consultative, relationship‑driven approach Demonstrated ability to independently manage client relationships, priorities, and business activities Highly professional, organized, and detail‑oriented Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for brand storytelling and delivering a premium client experience Committed to inclusive, respectful, and ethical business practices Flexible to travel as needed to support business objectives Must provide own transportation, maintain a valid driver’s license, and safely handle and transport product samples and brand materials Additional information
This opportunity is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role. Compensation is commission‑based with uncapped earning potential, based on net sales, rewarding performance and results.
