
Medical Sales Representative (Hershey, PA)

Lawall Prosthetics and Orthotics is hiring a motivated Medical Sales Representative for business‑to‑business development in
Hershey, PA and surrounding area . Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments, presenting products, and meeting sales quotas. The role requires building customer relationships and maintaining expert knowledge of our products.
Key Responsibilities
Generate revenue and meet sales targets.
Develop leads through cold‑calling and campaigns.
Utilize business intelligence for sales support.
Meet and exceed territory sales objectives.
Build strong business relationships and implement sales strategies.
Communicate product updates and educational programs to customers.
Implement sales plans and marketing strategies to achieve goals.
Identify prospects' needs and respond accordingly.
Cross‑sell and manage new product introductions.
Troubleshoot and address problems.
Maintain training in sales skills and product knowledge.
Collect competitive data and stay updated on industry trends.
Attend sales and professional meetings as required.
Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and maintain inventory of consigned products.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree and valid driver’s license
3‑5 years preferred sales experience, especially in healthcare/medical devices
Knowledge of human anatomy is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate and handle difficult situations
Capacity to learn complex technical information
Willingness to travel extensively
Professional, self‑motivated, and flexible in teamwork and independent tasks
Effective in consultative selling and relationship building
Excellent listening, writing, and communication skills
Strong time management and attention to detail
Positive, energetic, and customer service‑oriented
Ability to work independently on complex projects
Sales closing experience required; familiarity with CRM Software, preferably Salesforce.
Physical Demands
Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with staff, management, and clients.
Able to sit, and/or stand for 100% of an 8 hour day.
Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate computer and other equipment.
Must have average vision and be able to see to read reports and operate equipment.
