Summary: The Fresh Cut Produce Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and satisfaction. This position involves preparing fresh cut fruits and vegetables, maintaining sanitation standards, adhering to food safety practices, and supporting stock management as directed by the Produce Manager. Key Responsibilities: Greet and engage with every guest who enters the produce area, prioritizing their needs and inquiries. Remain attentive to guest traffic, ready to assist as needed. Flexibly switch between tasks responsive to guest demands for maximum service efficiency. Follow the daily work schedule assigned by management diligently. Handle produce in accordance with company guidelines, ensuring safety, convenience, and quality. Minimize product shrinkage, damage, and spoilage to maintain freshness. Execute produce preparation tasks such as cutting, packaging, and cleanup as directed by management. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management in line with company policies. Key Requirements: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Capability to perform essential physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, squatting, climbing, and walking. Comfortably lift items weighing up to 60 lbs. to a height of 4 feet regularly. Proficient in reading, writing, and completing company forms accurately. Ability to work in a controlled atmosphere of 60 degrees for extended periods (8-10 hours). Current Food Safety certification is required. Experience safely operating relevant equipment like slicers, processors, and juicers. Willingness to accept feedback and coaching on work performance and attitude. Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
