Property Management Assistant Director .
In this leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Property Management Department, supporting staff and ensuring high-quality management of affordable housing, commercial properties, and administrative facilities. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, well-managed housing while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily property management operations, including leasing, maintenance, inspections, and rehabilitation.
Supervise, mentor, and support property management and maintenance staff
Oversee tenant relations, rent collection, lease enforcement, and unit turnover
Coordinate preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance and vendor services
Monitor budgets, contracts, expenditures, and contractor performance
Ensure compliance with HUD and other regulatory requirements
Support capital planning, bidding, and project oversight
Maintain accurate property, tenant, and program records
Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and external agencies
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of management experience in affordable housing property management or a related field, plus 2 years of administrative or leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, real estate, construction technology, planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of affordable housing regulations, property operations, and landlord-tenant law
Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

$114,600 – $139,296 Depending on Experience
