is currently looking for a

Capital Markets Analyst I.

The right candidate will provide guidance through analytical and technical support to Capital Markets, Secondary Marketing and Production management by maintaining specialty lock offerings for builder partner through database management and reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain key systems and reporting databases

Process incoming purchase requests

Facilitate the creation and acceptance of pricing terms

Frequently audit and document internal price models to ensure reporting and pricing accuracy

Continuously improve the operations through procedural, system and policy enhancement while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies

Process profile changes and lock extensions in Optimal Blue

Communicate with Production and Secondary Marketing management on error trending

Coordinate and communicate to keep multiple departments within the company apprised of changes

Respond to emails in the BFC Desk inbox Monitor post lock changes for efficiencies and trends

Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements specific to daily job functions

Maintain knowledge of loan products offered by DHI Mortgage

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance from a four-year college or university

College graduate to two years related experience

Knowledge of the mortgage process and terminology

Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Efficient skills in Excel

Proficiency with MS Office and email

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Optimal Blue and Encompass a plus

Ability to multi-task and provide attention to detail
