The Consumer Loan Sales Specialist is responsible for generating, developing, and closing consumer loan opportunities while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role combines sales, relationship building, and detailed loan processing to support organizational loan growth goals. The specialist will guide customers through the loan application process using the nCino platform, identify additional lending opportunities, and actively cross‑sell Extraco products. In this fast‑paced, customer-facing position, the specialist works closely with the Consumer Lending Manager and retail teams to improve loan quality, ensure compliance, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a passion for helping customers, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Education Requirements:

College degree or related experience. Experience:

Minimum three years in customer service, sales, or related credit experience. Knowledge Requirements:

Passion to help people in a manner that achieves strong bonds of trust. Strong verbal communication skills and assertive demeanor. Ability to work well in a fast paced environment. Position requires many detail oriented functions. Knowledge of Extraco Banks technology platforms a plus. Physical Demands:

Majority of your time will be spent with customers on the phone or in person. Regularly required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Learn all facets of consumer lending. Primary objectives are to assist the team in meeting organizational loan growth and relationship building initiatives. Heavy emphasis on cross‑selling of multiple Extraco products. Learn and demonstrate knowledge of all consumer loan products, rates, terms, and regulations. Duties Performed in This Position

Critical Tasks

Generate and develop consumer loan applications using nCino platform. Search for additional loan opportunities that provide value to the customer. Coordinate loan closings for customers that are timely and well prepared. Discuss and participate in cross‑selling additional bank products. Assist Consumer Lending Manager with training field personnel on how to generate loan opportunities and provide quality loan closings. Coordinate sales efforts with indirect team when customer is purchasing a vehicle. Maintain a high penetration of AFT, ACH, and other ancillary products. Other Duties

Support Consumer Lending Manager in monitoring and adhering to compliance related issues. Perform tasks or projects as needed by supervisor. Provide a superior customer experience during loan process that creates referrals and repeat business. Achieve high ratings on customer experience surveys. Learn and implement methods that will improve loan quality to enhance organizational performance. Strong focus on loan application depth of analysis, income determination, and collateral valuation. Package loan properly to ensure loan operations can generate loan documents efficiently. Assist in training retail teams on how to have quality conversations that increase loan application activity. Assist with calls on retention list to increase customer retention and decrease competitor payoff. Extraco Banks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
