The Opportunity Our client is a global manufacturer of

end-of-line packaging automation and integrated bulk packaging systems . They design and deliver turnkey automated packaging lines and standalone machinery to industrial manufacturers across multiple sectors.

Due to growth across European markets, they are seeking an experienced

Sales Manager

to develop new business, manage strategic accounts, and expand territory sales across Europe.

Territory

Regular travel to customers, partners, and industry events

The role will focus on selling

automated end-of-line packaging machinery and full packaging line solutions , including:

Key Machinery & Product Lines

Case erectors and case forming systems

Case Sealers

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute European sales strategy for end-of-line packaging automation

Identify and win new business across manufacturing and processing sectors

Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to project handover

Sell complex engineered solutions and turnkey packaging lines

Work closely with engineering teams to develop customised solutions

Build and maintain strong distributor and OEM partner relationships

Conduct technical sales presentations and solution demonstrations

Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting

Represent the business at exhibitions and industry events

Candidate Profile

Proven experience selling

packaging machinery

Strong understanding of

end-of-line packaging processes

Experience with solution-based or engineered sales

Demonstrated success selling across European territories

Technical aptitude and ability to understand automation systems

Comfortable with long sales cycles and consultative selling

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Willingness to travel extensively across Europe

Preferred Background

Experience with bulk packaging, bag-in-box systems, or industrial automation

Knowledge of food processing, ingredients, plastics, or industrial manufacturing sectors

Experience working with OEMs, integrators, or turnkey systems providers

Key Metrics

Revenue growth within European territory

New business acquisition

Pipeline development and forecast accuracy
