
Associate Analyst/Analyst, Sales Planning and Reporting

Job Overview
The Sales Planning & Reporting team provides the commercial organization with accurate reporting, clear insights, and tools that help both home office and field leaders make informed decisions. In this role, you will support core reporting operations, develop new analytics, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen how our sales force uses data. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional partners, enhance our Tableau reporting ecosystem, and bring forward insights that help drive business performance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new tools, and taking initiative on projects that improve efficiency and clarity for end users. This role will work a weekly hybrid schedule in our Waltham office.
Responsibilities
Core Reporting & Dashboard Support
Maintain and enhance Tableau dashboards, ensuring accuracy, usability, and timely updates.
Monitor data feeds, perform QC checks, and troubleshoot issues related to customer master, alignments, crediting, and weekly performance reporting.
Support field‑facing reporting by simplifying navigation, improving accessibility, and driving adoption of tools.
Analytics & Insights
Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer business questions from Sales Leadership, Field Operations, and Marketing.
Develop clear summaries and visualizations that translate data into actionable insights.
Track national and subnational performance trends, identifying opportunities and performance drivers.
Planning & Performance Processes
Support Quarterly Business Review (QBR) preparation through territory/district deep dives and performance analytics.
Assist in building reporting views that track pull‑through of payer wins, coverage improvements, and execution priorities.
Continuous Improvement & Special Projects
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, enhance structures, and reduce complexity.
Contribute to ongoing initiatives such as:
Improving report navigation and organizing the Tableau environment
Enhancing Customer Suggestions / Insights logic and documentation
Developing new field self‑service reporting capabilities
Partner cross‑functionally with MDM, Data Governance, IT, and Sales Training as needed.
Qualifications
Tools & Technical Skills
Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Excel.
Ability to build dashboards, write calculated fields, and translate business logic into technical requirements.
Comfortable working with large datasets and troubleshooting data inconsistencies.
Strong communication skills — able to explain findings and proposals clearly.

Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s a plus but not required).
Associate, Analyst Experience Required
3‑5 years in sales operations, commercial analytics, or related field. Advanced degree acceptable in lieu of years of experience.
Analyst, Experience Required
4‑6 years in sales operations, commercial analytics, or related field. Advanced degree acceptable in lieu of years of experience.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $59,000 to $68,000. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual performance pay bonus.
