JOB SUMMARY The Lease Administrator is responsible for the full scope of lease administration activities, various property management tasks, and internal and external relationship management. Experience with or knowledge of the financial aspect of lease management is desirable.
This position is under a hybrid work schedule which is generally remote with one day per week in office and as needed on campus. The Lease Administrator will also need to travel to various leasing locations across the DFW metroplex.

Experience 3 years of related experience.

Experience Experience in commercial real estate, lease administration, property management, or real estate accounting with exposure to commercial leases.
JOB DUTIES
Responsible for the full scope of lease administration services, including: - Inputting and maintaining all lease contract information and associated records in lease administration software such as Visual Lease - Submitting correct and timely payment of monthly rent and billback statements for all leased locations - Reviewing annual Common Area Maintenance and Operating Expense reconciliations for all leased locations - Facilitating review of, and submitting payment for, tenant improvement invoices for renovation and construction work at leased locations - Communicating with Facilities, clinic managers, and other internal personnel regarding Tenant/Landlord responsibilities at leased locations - Invoicing UTSW tenants monthly
Responsible for conducting property management tasks, including: - Communicating with property management groups for accounting, maintenance, and general needs of UTSW - Coordinating off‑campus repairs and maintenance with property management groups and/or UTSW Facilities - Managing and tracking the status of property tax exemptions and protests, and paying tax bills as applicable - Tracking and paying applicable city fees for easements, encroachments, and ordinances
Responsible for acting as a relationship manager on behalf of UTSW Real Estate Services for internal and external stakeholders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
